Recipe for Egg Biscuits
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon lard
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Directions
- Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Stir in eggs, lard, and milk. Mix until the ingredients form a smooth dough.
- Roll dough out flat to about half an inch thick.
- Cut dough using a biscuit cutter.
- Spread sweet milk over the top of each biscuit.
- Bake.
