Recipe for Corn Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup white corn flour
- 1 teaspoon baking-powder
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Sift all dry ingredients.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until the mixture forms a batter.
- Pour batter into a greased muffin pan.
- Bake.
