  1. Sift the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Stir in the water and yeast.
  3. Once the ingredients are mixed, knead the bread with your hands.
  4. Pour the dough into greased bread pans and allow it to rise until it doubles in size.
  5. Bake.
  6. Brush the top of the bread with butter as soon as it is removed from the oven. This will soften the bread.
